Rincon de la Vieja National Park / Buena Vista Combo Tour 7:30am – 6pm $135.00 per person

Starting with a 100% adrenaline canopy thrill, this day promises to be full of adventure. Zip line over the tree tops of the Rincon de la Vieja National Park, and get eye to eye with monkeys and birds 60 feet above the ground. Next, the jungle water slide comes as a refreshing break – and you control the speed! A typical ‘Guanacasteco’ countryside lunch will be served before you embark by horse or trailer truck (your pick) to the volcanic mud pots and hot water springs (notice the lovely waterfalls along the way.) Enjoy a volcanic hot mud spa full of nutrients and other great properties, and then spend some time swimming in the crystal clear mineral hot springs. This area is abundant with wildlife and exotic tropical birds, especially toucans. This trip includes a canopy tour, jungle water slide, lunch, horseback ride or trailer truck ride, volcanic mud pots, hot water springs and transportation to/from The Breeze or The Breeze Annex.

Palo Verde National Park River Tour and Guaitil 7:30am – 3pm $95.00 per person

This trip is a guarantee for those who love nature and wildlife, and is a birdwatcher’s paradise. Your trip begins with a drive through the beautiful countryside of Guanacaste. Once you arrive at the park, you will find yourself surrounded by one of the most complete selections of water birds in the country, plus enormous crocodiles, white-faced monkeys, howler monkeys, green iguanas and water lizards. After the river tour, a ‘Guanacasteco’ style lunch will be awaiting you in a typical Chorotega rancho, where you will feast on regional dishes. Guaitil is the most representative village of the Costa Rican natives who are still producing the ancient Chorotega pottery, a tradition preserved by the indigenous cultures. You will see how the artisans make this unique kind of pottery. This trip includes a river tour, lunch, Guaitil tour, a bilingual tour guide and transportation to/from The Breeze or The Breeze Annex.

Estuary Tour: 2 hours $35.00 per person

Reminiscent of Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn meandering down the river in ‘The African Queen,’ you can take a unique safari boat ride through the canals of the beautiful ‘Las Baulas de Guanacaste’ National Park’s mangrove swamp. Ride past 5 different kinds of rare mangrove trees, where you’ll spot howler monkeys in the branches, beautiful water birds, colorful crabs, iguanas and (if you’re lucky!) sometimes crocodiles in the waters below. Our guide has 20 years of experience in pointing out all the natural wonders you’re about to see! Bring sunscreen, mosquito repellant and your camera. Water, fruit and transportation (to/from The Breeze or The Breeze Annex) is included.
